First time here for my wife and I. We followed our gal Deidra from another establishment and we were both really impressed with how welcomed we felt and how friendly the entire staff was. The food and draft beer were amazing and we will definitely be coming back for more!!!
This was my first time being here but everything was so amazing. The food, the service, the atmosphere, and especially the owner, Melissa. She was on her skates, (very impressive skills, too) hustling and making everyone happy. As an owner, she didn't need to do any of that but she was out there working hard and with a smile. Kudos to her for having an amazing place and the food?! *Chefs kiss* so yummy! I should also add, I was there on Sunday when they feature Bluegrass music and the band did not disappoint. The best part of it all? The doggos. So many adorable dogs that were around, which the restaurant caters to. If you love dogs, it's pure heaven.
Friend of mine made the recommendation and I am so happy I came to visit. Large variety of beers on draft. The food was delicious see the pictures for yourself! Super chill atmosphere. Great for a group of friends to hangout and drink!
Excellent burgers ( i mean really, really good) and great selection of draft beers. The Bartender was very friendly and was attentive. Glad this place is close to home.
We love Melissa and we love this place! BEST burgers all around, so fresh, from a local farmer, they ground... sooooo delicious! Went for New Years with my kids (their first time)... came back a week later per my son’s Birthday request!
Incredible entertainment venue ... Looking forward to seeing the food and service experience. There is a small courtyard with reserved or privacy possibilities before entering the beer garden. Surrounding street trees lighted provide much charm, unique 19th century vibe - a superstar band featured with friendly patrons and attentive waitstaff!
What a cute little pub, and the owner, Melissa is such a delight to talk to! I had seen this place earlier in the fall but not had a chance to stop in. Today was the day, and boy did I enjoy the food, the service, and the atmosphere! Melissa was my server and between tables she made it a point to engage in a true conversation! I’m an older Transgender Woman and I’m sometimes reluctant to try new pubs. Melissa made it a point to welcome me and put me at ease, she even pointed out several events they sponsor for the LGBTQ community. There was a couple having drinks at a table who welcomed me into their conversation when Chuck Berry was mentioned! I LOVE a community atmosphere and Sidecar has it!
the atmosphere is mellow and homey, the wait staff attentive but not obtrusive, and the food is out of this world! study the drink menu before arrival, as it's quite extensive. i look forward to returning to this batavia favorite soon. five stars across the board!
